I walked into this room last year and all that I could think
Such a wonder to behold, this amazing Sea of Pink!
Pink ribbons and lace, all this finery and wonderful décor
It boasts of thoughtful effort when you walk in the door
Look at all the prizes, put your tickets where you please
And most of them procured by these pink-clad attendees
A special piece of jewelry acquired by a dame named Mary
We all know she is very generous, but can be quite contrary
A Sea of Pink across the golf course too, and even on the greens
It just appeared from nowhere, at least that’s what it seems
The volunteers who take on the task of putting on this show
Have outdone themselves again this year, we want them all to know
This worthy cause has helped so many just surviving on the brink
