The results of the Herons Glen Mixed Bowling League’s 2024/25 season are listed in the following tables. However, there was a uniqueness to this year’s results, the same team won both the first half and second half of the season as well as the overall season championship plus winning the Team Handicap Series! A truly notable outcome. Pictured at right are the Bowl-Dacious Fun team members: Mary Ann Peckham, Bill Eshbach, Edie Ochab and Ruth Poster. Also amazing, the team’s average is only 110 which meant they were getting around 90 pins per game in handicap from their competitors. After 22 weeks of bowling, they succeeded in outscoring their competition sufficiently to win it all! This appears to be proof that the handicap system can produce winning results!
In other noteworthy bowling statistics, there were 112 scratch games bowled over a score of 200! Furthermore, there were four scratch scores over 250! Here are those excellent scores and the names of the seven bowlers exceeding that mark:
