In our cozy Solana neighborhood, the true spirit of Christmas is shining brighter than ever. Thanks to two wonderful residents, Nancy Odom and Arlene Scherl, whose vision and kindness inspired something truly extraordinary.

What began as their thoughtful idea quickly blossomed into a heartfelt community effort. Neighbors eagerly embraced the festive spirit, filling Solana with twinkling lights, wreaths, joyful decorations, and even a giant moose who decided to celebrate the season right here with us! For those unable to decorate on their own, Nancy and Arlene were right there, climbing ladders, hanging garland, and making sure every home sparkled with holiday joy. One beloved couple, currently facing significant health challenges, had their home glowing with festive cheer, a beautiful symbol of the love and support that surround them here in Solana.
And in the most generous holiday fashion, Solana didn’t keep this magic to itself. On Dec. 8, residents opened their arms and their tables to welcome the entire Herons Glen community. Music, delicious food and drinks, laughter, and warm hospitality filled the night, creating new friendships and memories that will last far beyond the season.

This year, Solana isn’t just decorated…
It’s united in kindness.
It’s overflowing with community pride.
And it’s glowing with the true meaning of Christmas.
