What a victorious night for the ladies at the Marbles Tournament on Sunday, March 30! Although there were three sweeps that night, only one table had a photo to share (shown below). Everyone had a fun time, and the ladies should be very happy with a total of 68 wins. Men, however, are still leading with 78 wins. There’s one last chance to defeat the men’s teams, so be sure to come out to play on Sunday, April 13. As usual, doors open at 6 p.m. and each group should try to play three games.
The final matches of the 2024/25 Marbles Season were played on April 13. Seven tables of “serious” players participated in the final meet. Going into the evening, men were leading with a score of 78 wins to women’s wins of 68. Although an earnest effort was made with the women scoring 10 wins, the men pulled ahead squeaking out 11 wins! In the end, men had 89 wins and women had 78 wins. Everyone, despite the ladies’ loss, had a fun time. For this the last meeting, no sweeps, so no photos this time. More fun will be in store next season, so watch for announcements about the Marbles Tournament 2025/26.
