Let summer socials begin! Seven ADA sisters attended a Red White and Blue fashion show and lunch sponsored by Razzle Dazzle clothing boutique at Hooked Island Grill in Cape Coral on May 13, 2026.
Sisters Bev Davis, Gloria Selander, Kathleen Colletti, Charleen Kohut, April McGarvey, Ana Ellis and Jo Potts enjoyed a delicious lunch of skewered shrimp and asparagus topped off with key lime pie. Following lunch, the fashion show began. Our MC said Razzle Dazzle had prepared us for the many 250-year celebrations of the birth of America leading up to July 4, 2026. A cute guy named Tony sang Toby Keith’s “Proud to be an American” to kick off the show. [Side note: Ana Ellis recognized Tony from her days in Denver where she and her husband Bill spent many nights listening to Tony and his band at their favorite dancing spot. It’s a small world.] The owners of the store were proud to introduce their daughter who was retiring as a Lt. Colonel after serving 30 years in the military.
The clothes were inspiring, and thankfully not all red, white and blue! We “oo’d and aah’d,” and liked and not-so-much liked many colorful and glitzy outfits for casual wear, cruise wear and dress-up fun. At the close of the big event, we ventured over to the shop for a one-day-only discount.
It was a wonderful outing, chatting, eating and just hanging out with each other for a couple of hours.
